I love the light from those Reveal bulbs. But what good is clean, crisp light if it burns out faster than Shortstack can down a bottle of YooHoo? I’m willing to admit that there’s more than a slight possibility my stockpiling of the burnt out bulbs was rooted in some angry, twisted ‘I’ll show you, stupid GE!’ mentality as much as it was some stroke of crafting genius. I was indeed planning on setting Shortstack loose with some paint and turning the bulbs into abstract Christmas ornaments. A great recycling idea, no? But nowhere near as cool as turning the burnt out bulbs into Santas, snowmen, angels, and penguins. Not exactly our style as is, but what a great place to start from.
